'The hotel is right in the middle of the plaza so location was great. However, it was very difficult to figure out where to park. The hotel entrance only has valet parking. We had to go out to find the parking lot which wasn't well marked. Signage was poor. There were many entrances and exits in and around the hotel that we got lost trying to get back to the parking garage (with fees). Otherwise, the hotel is clean. 'Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids.
