'Noisy neighbors'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'This place needs a lot of work. I know it’s not a Hilton or Marriott however, I have stayed at plenty of Days Inn and it was nothing like this one. Outside is poorly maintained, the room smelled extremely moldy, and I woke up to roaches In the bath tub! We were traveling and just needed a few hours of sleep and this was the closest thing. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND'

'General ok place to stay. However small rooms, can be noisy if other guest stay out long. And gap between door and floor is big. So expect crawling friends.'

'Tv remotes don't work'

'This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in….booked it in a pinch traveling from far just to rest no rest was had…..I have many pictures bugs mirror broken and taped with sharp glass pet friendly but not safe drawings on the wall with crayon tape all over the shower and room smells gross and crack heads everywhere and extra cost for NO smoking……what…..'

'Our room was not clean initially bed looked worn and urine on toilet seat. We requested a new room, the new room was ok. However they ran out of cups for coffee and orange juice machine was broken. Breakfast area was dirty…. Need more than one person to operate check ins and breakfast area.'

'The property is nothing like the pictures. It is very run down. Broken windows and entrances. Smells like mold and mildew. Very dirty and unsanitary.'

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'This property was very unique experience. They outrighttly said that they dont have my booking. After showing them the confirmation from expedia, they still refused and said how can they book the property. We dont have such rooms and we dont make money with them. After being told that I am traveling with 4 kids and need a night stay, they offered 2 beds and asked for $50 with no extra blankets. Horrible experience and I am going to spread this word across.'

'Motel was filthy on the outside with a bad odor and a general unsafe feeling but the room was fine for a quick overnight stay. No bugs, clean sheets and a hot shower.'

'I hate writing bad reviews. When we checked in our room looked like someone was already in there the toilet was used and not flushed and the bed looked like someone had been lying on it. We walked right of the room and went back to the front desk. The person there was very helpful and keep apologizing and gave us a new room. the next morning we went down for breakfast at 7:45 and the buffet was empty, I don't mean the trays were empty, there was no trays in the buffets. Only one tray had...

'Stayed for 2 nights. Room was clean and comfortable. Was pleasantly surprised to see that our room had been serviced while out for a day at the theme park. Since covid this is rare. Breakfast was good. Would recommend this hotel.'

'Pet friendly is appreciated'

'the room was clean, but the tv wouldn't even turn on. No internet, no remote, they never have proper batteries in it. I would like to book the same room on my next visit, but I won't becasue I like to watch tv so I might not book there.'
