'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'When I arrived, my original room was dirty. The front desk staff upgraded me to a different room. The room was decent for a one-night stay. Some of the amenities were not able to be used (pool was closed). It was also very noisy by the ice machine area (not because people were using it).'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'Very convenient to the park and plenty of parking, but staff did not engage in appropriate greeting or check-out. Unhelpful in instructions about locating room. No hair dryer and broken tv, but fine if you are just there to go to KD.'

'Staff helpful. Carpet was filthy. I had socks on and they got filthy. I showed the staff the socks and he apologized and said he would look into it I was in either room 110 or 111. The breakfast selection was good but there was no cream cheese for the bagels Bed was very comfortable and the linens very soft.'

'It is a very busy place....displaced famlies ?, recovering patients?, out of town work crews, trucks, boats, etc fill the parking lot. No smoking within 25 feet of the building but a huge ashtray ( and a crowd) next to the rear exit door. Attractively designed, but understaffed. Hallways had multiple pet spots/stains. Late nights and early mornings the hallways and elevator can be quite dirty. Over priced for the existing condition of the property.'

'Parking was easy and check in was a breeze. Room was decent. New TV in my room. Breakfast needed some bagels and milk for cereal. Coffee was good. '

'If you need a shower and a bed food this is your place there’s no WiFi no help from any staff no pool this isn’t a place for anything else but a decent couple night stay I wouldn’t stay long our rooms locks were barely hanging on an didn’t close all the way genuine safety concerns but I could access the breakfast area at anytime that was the only decent thing about this place but you pay for what you get so can’t say to much'
