'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'

'The property was clean, convenient to I95, and close to a few restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly. My wife and I both thought the breakfast was better than average with good variety and reasonable freshness. '

'Amazing staff ! Best staff experience at a hotel. Both were so helpful and sweet to our two kids and everyone who came by. We loved it so much on our trip to Florida we came there again on the way back! They had great books and toys for the kids in the lobby and a little kids table which made the experience easier & more special for them.'

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'We had to change rooms 3 times!!! The first room we were given a key to was Occupied!! The second room, the fan in the bathroom sounded like a jet running!!! The 3rd room ..the refrigerator didnt work..it was Horrible!'

'The room was not clean. There were food items under the beds and the couch. There was no shampoo or body wash. They handed me body wash with no top and filled an empty bottle of shampoo that wasn’t meant for shampoo. The outlet by the bed doesn’t work and is coming out of the wall. There is rarely a staff member available at the desk, and they don’t answer the phone number given.'

'System was down when I checked in on Friday and had to wait about 30 minutes to check in. Also, WiFi went down on Sunday, so hard to do work.'

'The bathroom was filled with mold. The room smelled like something went bad in it. Everything was dirty. The floor was sticky. The tub and shower had cracks and was filled with dirt and mildew. Upon asking to change rooms because of how disgusting it was we were told that they were full. Even though it was 10:30 pm and the parking lot had maybe 5 other cars in it. We ended up cancelling our second night we were supposed to stay and got another hotel. '

'They did not have breakfast, they had cereal, bread for toast and some juice type drinks. The room was clean luckily but exterior (including doors to rooms) was in very poor condition. '

'General ok place to stay. However small rooms, can be noisy if other guest stay out long. And gap between door and floor is big. So expect crawling friends.'
