'It is hidden and on a river, it's really beautiful there. We were there when there was no other residence, so my pup and my grandchildren were able to play. It's in the front yard.The owner was very nice and accommodating'

'The property was beautiful. The house had everything you might need for a family vacation and it truly made the stay even better. Connie was an amazing host and was happy to answer any and all questions I had during my stay. If we ever travel out that way again. Connie's place is high on the list. My partner works in HVAC and truly loved how everything was neatly labeled and set up. '

'A lovely house in a lovely spot, this was a great location for a week long getaway. Some confusion at check-in, the result of no batteries in the electronic lock, was easily dealt with with the hosts. The back porch had seen some bird activity between the previous guests and our stay. If we had spoken up, I’m sure the hosts would have dealt with that, too. We had our dogs with us and the stairs were steeper and slipperier than they liked, so that colored our stay a bit. That’s not anyone’s...

'We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. '

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
