Everyone had compliments about the home decor.The house was stocked nicely with supplies and everything we needed to cook, clean, bathe, etc. The teens loved the game room and just having the space to make up their own games. 'We had a lovely Labor Day weekend at this beautiful property with breathtaking views. The house was set up perfectly for us - the kids loved the lower level bunks, and the parents had comfortable rooms upstairs. We spent a lot of time enjoying the sun porch, and the kids even braved the pool (despite it being a cooler weekend). The tree house was also a favorite spot for the kids to play and read. The hike to the water is challenging, but spending an afternoon in the sun at the 2-story dock was...

'Fort Lewis Lodge is just amazing. From the outstanding service to the relaxing atmosphere. I just wish we would’ve started our tradition of going there years ago. The food alone is amazing as are the people.'

"Very helpful and kind staff, when I mentioned that the information about the airport shuttle wasn't correct online, the lady at the front desk offered to co.pensate for the confusion by giving us a breakfast voucher. The breakfast was amazing and her gesture was appreciated. The proxi.ity to the Ronald Reagan airport was also a big plus. After a long trip it was a short ride tp the hotel. All in all, a good experience and I would stay here again. "

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
