'We booked 2 rooms for 2 days. There was a very strong odor of dog urine in the office. The owner/ receptionist had 3 dogs running around in there. The rooms were reasonably clean. However there were used false eyelashes and a couple of press on nails left on top of the microwave. The first day went well. The second day we went to the pool. 'I paid for an ocean view room and it was a view of the parking lot that is between the ocean and the building. So don't get a first floor room. The air condition was terrible. Our room never cooled off. There is no service desk, and the number you call says that they close. On the inside of the room, there are no curtains to keep the light that's mounted outside from shining in through the window. 'Great hotel… but always book the top floor because you can hear footsteps from guests at all times of the night on floor below. Well run. Nice bed. Also suggest bringing your own toiletries because they off less than luxury brands.'

'This is more like a motel, not a resort. There were no towels in the room at all (nor any hand soap in the bathroom) and when we went to ask about them, we were told to come back, that most of them were being laundered. There were bugs in the room. The day before we left, when it was time for us to get cleaned up to go to dinner, I went to the office for clean towels and toilet paper and no one was there so I had to grab a pool towel in order to take a shower. 'Arrived Friday afternoon to find the outdoor pool water was cloudy and green. Was told by front office staff member Scott it was my choice to swim in it or not. My 6 year old granddaughter was very unhappy with this result. The road construction in front of the hotel with orange cones. Made it difficult to enter and exit, not the fault of the hotel. No white milk on Saturday morning, so no cereal and Sunday no sugar for coffee.'

'Cute remodeled hotel with great parking right next to the Boardwalk. Nice cold A/C, comfortable bed. Very clean room and bathroom. Small but cozy for a couple. We made a quick three day trip for July 4th weekend. Convenient to the beach, restaurants, shops and day trip to Wilmington. We will stay here again!'

'Check-in time was 4pm but a lot of us had to wait for later. Pool closes at 8pm which is ridiculous. Garbage stains on the wall. The weird early pool closer is what got me. Adults during the peak season should be able to swim until at least 10pm. If I go to Kure again I’d see about different lodging.'
