'We enjoyed our weekend stay. There were a couple of hiccups, but the owner was responsive to us regarding a plumbing concern. It was the perfect location for beach access and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The porch swing was a great place to relax too. Just what we needed for the four of us for the weekend.'

'This property was perfect for a quick stay at the beach. We usually rent a house for the week & are used to having to bring linens, towels, & household necessities, but everything was supplied. The best part was the convenience of the beach access & the privacy. This section of beach was not crowded at all & there is more shoreline on this end of the island. 'I really like the location, the house don't get me wrong was fine, just outdated on appearance, I feel like they could do so much more with the place, to make it more inviting.something to make guests feel happy when they wake up, just decor we was drab . 'The home was a short walk to the Beach and there was a wagon in the Garage to allow us to bring chairs and coolers down and this made the trip fun, and it was great weather, we ate at two local restaurants, and the food was excellent, and we loved the beauty of the water. '

One particular episode to note: the kitchen sink faucet broke during our stay and the Carolina Retreats personnel were very helpful finding a plumber on short notice to replace it.
