'The first thing we noticed when walking in was how clean it was, especially for being a bit older. Also, the location was just a short walk to the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It was a pretty humid and warm in there but we spent most of the day out and at the beach so it didn't bother us as much as much after the first night. Overall recommend!'

'Perfect place to share with family and enjoy the North Carolina ocean. Location was perfect and easy access to ocean with a bit more room versus other properties. While we didn't exactly visit at the right time of year given the weather, we still enjoyed ourselves and Jeanette was a perfect hostess and did everything possible to ensure we had everything we needed.'

'We enjoyed out stay . The location was perfect. we loved the private walkway to the beach, large porch and outside shower. The hostess was very responsive to our communications. We will be back.'

'One reason we picked this property was the fenced backyard for our dogs. We didn't realize how nice it would be. The large yard was surrounded by a well secured privacy fence; no chance of any dog getting out. There was outdoor setting on a raised deck with a gas fire pit. The outdoor shower with hot water was a nice bonus. This property was ideally located just across the street from the beach access, so you could easily come and go to as you wished. 'Great property with everything you need! Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, plenty of bath towels available (extra in laundry room), bed linens and extra blankets available. Great location and exactly what we needed.'

'My friend and I had such a great time I booked it again for 2 months later!! Susan is a wonderful host. The lake in the backyard is so pretty. Close to the beach and restaurants.'

'The property is in a great spot and the house is adorable. When we arrived the floors were filthy and we swept up piles of dirt. The outdoor shower was in pieces and didn’t work. The beds weren’t comfortable and were covered in old plastic mattress covers. When I left a message to the host about the dirt and shower I received no response. '

'Very comfortable and pleasant house. It was terribly hot during our stay so the beach visits were later in the evening when it cooled down slightly. It was very welcoming home and it was a nice stay in A/C. I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone to stay in. Surf's Up !!!!'
