'yes, there were shops nearby. The parking was okay but a little tight for a full size pickup. The room was really dirty, floors, the recliner, the bath room was also unclean. The room was advertised as handicap accessible, the shower did have grab bars but the toilet was low with no grab bars. I only walk with handicap aid such as canes or walkers and I certainly require grab bars around a toilet. Before bringing our bags into the room, my wife asked the staff if we could have a different room...

'The area is great if you are staying around Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, etc. The room was definitely worth what I paid for it, but when I stayed, the pool, hot tub, and elevator were out. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful, but not much was done with a smile. I would stay here again, but it would have been nice to use the pool and/or hot tub. '

'Ongeinteresseerd en onverzorgd personeel. Kamer met lakens met (bruine) vlekken, haardroger te vies om aan te pakken, weer in douchegordijn etc. Kortom geen suc6. Gelukkig sliepen wij er slechts 1 nacht. Personeel was wel behulpzaam om lakens om te wisselen zonder excuus aan te bieden.'

My biggest issue was when I arrived The website claims the price you see is the price you pay but when I got there I was told I had to pay $100 deposit that I would receive back when I left didn't see anything about that on the website before I booked it All in all I'd say...
