'Stay was great; house is amazing in every way. We had a bit of communication issues with Wendy as we were given the wrong door code and then double charged a cleaning fee. She says she will reimburse it but it has taken a few weeks and some VRBO support to make it happen.'

'We came up to Hot Springs formy husband to hike the trail. We have 2 kids under 15 months and a 13 year old dog. The selling point was the fenced in yard. It was large enough for my older daughter and dog to "explore" together, but not so big I couldn't sit on the porch and keep an eye on them. As far as homes I've VRBO'ed before this one was quite small, but was PERFECT in keeping the kiddo wrangled. The stand up shower was large. 'My dog my dad 76 and I 31 wanted a nice get away to the mountains. We live 10min from the ocean in Maryland so mountains just amaze us. This place was perfect. We enjoyed listening to the river, we visited many waterfalls , Asheville, went to Gatlingburg and explored all around the surroundings area. Thank you for allowing my dad and I to spend some quality time together.'

'This little plot of land is so special, it rained most of my stay but I didn’t mind one bit! Mountain rain is one of the best things on the planet. The host created a very comfortable, cozy space on the property and I am grateful to have had the pleasure. Thank you to Danni & to the wonderful garden workers at Bluff Mountain Nursery for their kindness and hospitality all weekend—would love to come back and take advantage of the farm tour/animal meet-and-greet next time!'

'I booked the place because wanted a hot tub for the weekend and the hot tub is prominently advertised in the listing. The hot tub was broken or at least not in working order and was filled with trash and brown water. I even contacted the host to verify there was a hot tub but they never responded. It’s unfortunate because otherwise the place was perfect. Quiet, remote, beautiful location and super cozy fireplace. Be advised, there isn’t any Wi-Fi or cell service but that was what I was looking...

'We booked the house on a whim, and had no idea what we were getting into. We took the hosts suggestions and took the ski lift twice and spent half a day exploring bald eagle mountain. The remainder for the time my kids begged to play at the cabin or at the creek at the bottom of the hill. The weekend felt like a home away from home, very comfy. Thank you so much for having us.'

'We were born and raised in Greeneville, and have always gone back to meet up and camp at Paint Creek. Now we are older and Paint Creek has been closing in the winter, so we decided we'd rent the lodge. It was absolutely perfect. Old, rustic, in the mountains, by the creek, and a fire pit with wood on-site. This place is awesome. We will definitely be back!'
