'Can I start by thanking Kate on reception who was very helpful when we requested an early check in at 12pm because we were going to a funeral at 2pm. We had travelled 3 hours from the north and she found us an empty room to get changed in which was much appreciated. The room was perfect, clean and warm. The bar was clean and tidy, we only called in for one after the funeral, no problems. The classic breakfast was perfect with plenty to eat and drink and the staff were helpful.'

'Excellent communications before we arrived. We were a family of 5, nice small touches; fresh fruit, milk, coffee etc. Rooms were clean, tidy and modern. Parking also a bonus. Really recommend.'

'Great central location and well appointed. Bit nonplussed with the lack of bottled water in the room when glasses are provided tho'. We didn't eat in the hotel but the menu looked very good.'

'Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. We were most impressed by the staff; all of whom were very friendly, professional...

'Onze algehele ervaring met dit hotel is erg goed. Alles wat we wilden was aanwezig. Gratis parkeren, zeer makkelijk achter een slagboom. Goede wifi, de wifi was bovengemiddeld goed in dit hotel. Gratis ontbijt. Ruime kamer, de kamer was zeer ruim met extra zitgedeelte. Goede douche, erg fijne douche met lekkere dikke handdoeken. '
