Historische hotels in Centraal Illinois

'Excellent hotel with pretty cool and understated hidden historical pieces. Very easy access to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (leave the parking lot by driving straight across a road, drive 3 minutes, and you’re there). Breakfast at the hotel was unappealing but there is a great breakfast spot — Lazy Daisy — around the corner (truly a 2-3 minute walk around a corner). 'We enjoyed our stay here. Room was very clean and in very good condition. Bathroom was immaculate and shower pressure was great! My biggest negative was the extremely low toilet and I'm only 5'3". Imagine what that was like for my 6'3" husband. The elevator was out of order and we were on the 2nd floor. But the front desk clerk was very helpful and carried our luggage up the steps for us. I would stay her again.'
