'Located in the downtown area of a small town in western MN, Canby Inn & Suites is a gem. We stayed here for 3 nights as our home base during a birding weekend. Every staff member greeted us warmly and offered to do whatever they could to make our stay comfortable. When we advised that we would be heading out at 5:30 am one of the mornings of our stay, they had freshly brewed coffee ready for us to take along. Service was above and beyond, The room was large and very clean. The bed (king)...

'The staff is awesome, from the front desk to the shuttle driver. The bathrooms are beautiful and the rooms spacious. The towels are soft and the complimentary bottled water is a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel.'

'Solid stay, our AC wasn’t working but maintenance came up and rigged it to have the fan blow cold air. Breakfast was such a nice touch and the coffee and accoutrements were such a great touch. '

'Older motel: tiny bathroom, cover missing on baseboard heater in the bathroom, lights pretty dim but decent beds, fluffy towels and plenty of hot water, parking right outside the door. Excellent value, pleasant staff, that also runs a cat rescue - we met some very sweet kitties as we were checking out.'

'The reception staff when we checked in was not friendly and didn’t welcome us or explain any of the amenities. Our bed was rock hard, very uncomfortable to sleep on. Also the tv did not work, couldn’t get channels on at all. The shower had low water pressure. Then after a rough night of sleep with the hard bed and hearing a guy snoring in the room behind our bed, the breakfast was nothing much. They had cereal, toast, yogurt and cups of fruit was all. I would not ever stay here again!'
