It’s close to Smith Rock State Park which is ideal. Because it’s an old building it can be a little noisy. But the rest of it makes it all good. '

'I accidentally booked my stay 1 day off, I immediately reached out to Hotels.com they said it would be up to the property they could not change my reservation. After a couple days I reached out to them again and they sent an email saying they were very sorry but after several attempts the property would not return an email. I reached out to the property and shared the email I had from Hotels.com it turns out Hotels.com had not sent any emails to the property the staff at Ponderosa were very kind...

'The best thing about this place honestly was the staff. They let me check in early because my room is ready and they let me check out late as a courtesy and it helped my family tremendously. That is how it always should be with a top level hotel or resort. Those little things help me tremendously and now I’ll be going there for many many years to come.'
