'Our stay here was magical! Communication with David was a breeze from the start. Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! You will think you stepped into a "Maine Cottages" magazine. It is well equipped, and was capable of hosting our "Lobstah Boil" with 20 guests, a live Jazz Saxophonist & a keyboard player! The views can't be beat. Want to kayak? Want to canoe? Conveniently located...

'Excellent stay! We really enjoyed the Tiny Home for our visit to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. The house had everything we could need. The owners put much thought into each detail. Check in and check out was super easy with the owners reaching out with the access code ahead of time. It was super nice they provided water bottles and soda for us to enjoy! 'I loved the cottage -- very simple, relaxing, in a remote waterfront location. To me: a cottage. To my partner: a shack...but very nice shack. The fireplace threw out enough heat to keep us cozy in the mornings and evenings (late Sept visit). When it was time to leave, our dog stretched out on the grass, his expressive eyes saying "Are you guys serious? Why are we leaving?" 'We very much enjoyed this well-located and appointed cottage and appreciated the responsiveness of the owner to a request for grilling materials and the Guest Contact for her responsiveness. Two minor concerns: a stove with oven would have expanded our food prep options, and finding the address on GPS was impossible - only after calling her did Contact email a special map to show us how to get to the cottage. "Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
