Unfortunately parking was terrible due to the parking garage being closed, we had to walk across the street behind businesses to park which was a HUGE inconvenience, especially at night because there was no lights. The pool was also closed so there were no amenities to enjoy.'

'I always enjoy staying at the Courtyard by Marriott. Every one I have stayed at is nice, food is great and I love access to a balcony, which is a rare find, at any hotel, not on the beach. The staff in Melbourne is not notch and always go above and beyond to accommodate anything for their guest.'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...
