We loved sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins swim in the intracoastal. The location is convenient to restaurants and shopping on Canal St.& Flagler Ave.; the beach is just a few minutes drive; and there are some beautiful sights to see in the local area. 'Unique and historic hotel. I love the antique decor and the staff/ owner were very friendly. No need to leave the hotel for meals as the hotel has a quaint restaurant, with various cuisine options and offers indoor/ outdoor dining. The chef is friendly and talented. He adds west coast flare to classic meals. The Captain Crunch french toast and patty melt were 2 favorites. He even helped jump my battery after I left my lights on! Easily, the best upcoming hotel in Deland.'

'Het motel centraal gelegen. Het was volgeboekt en wij kregen een fijne grote kamer met 2 queen bedden en extra zithoek. Op ons verzoek werd het zwembad geopend. Ontbijt was prima.'
