'The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking the back gardens is a big plus. Margaret is very accessible and helpful. Her garden shop is a lovely place to browse. This is our third stay and we will most likely return if visiting in the area.'

'There was a microwave, toaster oven, kettle, fridge, coffee maker with plenty of dishes and cutlery. The items could use a bit of a clean up. Good space for eating in the kitchen. Parking was right by the house and safe. Also, entry to main house and room was very safe. Owner was very prompt with communication and checked after first day if anything was needed. 'Great host, Rose cares about her guests you can tell that right away. The room we stayed in was beautiful, the cleanest I think I’ve ever stayed in and it was fully stocked with soaps, coffee & even makeup wipes for my wife. Rose accommodated dietary restrictions for our breakfast no problem. The perfect place to stay for couples visiting Port Hope and looking for something a bit more special than a hotel. Summertime would be even better. '
