'Hotel was mostly fine. Staff were friendly, location good for visiting SDSU. Unfortunately there was an AC unit running constantly outside my window generating a lot of noise and vibration at all times.'

'The hotel is very old and you can tell. Everything is run down and needs to be replaced. Our room was filthy and beat up. There were stains on the ceiling, all the furniture needs to be replaced, there were spiders, the bathroom was dirty (a poop stain on the toilet seat), trash still in the room from the last people, the carpet was wrinkled and torn in places. The redeeming quality is the fact that the staff is nice and there was free breakfast. Parking was incredibly difficult, he spots were...

'Great stay! Rooms are clean and quiet, and the free breakfast is a nice plus. The staff is very welcoming. It’s a very convenient area with a food court close by, making it easy to find good food. Parking is only $10/day, which is very reasonable. Easy access to traffic and local spots. Highly recommended!'

'The place was very clean, and I got plenty of rest, and breakfast in the morning. I stayed one night and would definitely stay again. Great safe location as well, and central! Also FREE PARKING!'

'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'
