'Lovely hotel unique and very good staff The only recommendations are that they have to give hotel guests prefference in one of the restaurants and make up the beds every day and close the corridor for people who are not staying in the hotel. Very noisy in the corridors in the evening '

'We’ve had an excellent stay, very walkable to Old Town San Diego, good restaurants in the direct area. The pool is a bit small though, San Diego zoo and the SS Midway are very close. The staff is very friendly and very nice and helpful, they give you great tips of the area. We stayed in a room facing away from the freeway, and slept with the windows open, no disturbing noises.'

'There was a $46 parking charge that they added when we got there. There was a $20 destination charge. I guess it was another way to add another extra charge. It is one thing if they say it upfront but adding it when we got there was not appreciated. The place was decent. The room was ready a bit after we got there, but the staff did not send the message to notify us. This was after I told them can you let us know when the room gets ready.'

'There were two big issues. The staff were nice enough, and the room was reasonably clean, However, a friend had given our daughter a gift of two boxes of shoes. We put them in the closet of the hotel room because we had another night to our stay. The next morning we departed, but forgot the bag with the two boxes of shoes, and a box of bubble wands. We called the hotel the same day, and they claimed that the shoes were not there in the room, and said that when the cleaning staff finds things...
