'I needed a place to stay during my trip to the US consulate in Rio de Janeiro. I was originally going to stay in Copacabana but the hotels were expensive, outdated, and had no kitchen to cook. I didn’t know anything about Rio, so my assumption was I had to stay in the beach towns for higher quality hotels and safer environments.
