Due to flight times from Florida, we arrived in the evening, but he was there to greet us with his warm smile & friendly demeanor. The cottage is ideal! 'I really enjoyed my stay. A comfortable tiny house. Lots of attention to detail. From a pour over coffee set up to a deck that backs up to the woods—I saw deer on a couple mornings, including one time when I watched a young deer follow a neighborhood cat along the grassy edge. Plus it’s tucked into a spot that is still less than a five minute walk to town. The hosts were super friendly. '

'Great house- literally a hidden gem! Melody was incredibly helpful, and made great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. But the most memorable aspect of our stay was the thoughtful little touches upon our arrival. After traveling all day, and little energy to go shopping at 6:00pm, it was amazing to find a dozen eggs, butter, and half & half waiting for us in the refrigerator! 'I loved the cottage -- very simple, relaxing, in a remote waterfront location. To me: a cottage. To my partner: a shack...but very nice shack. "Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
