'Hotel waar je goed kunt overnachten, de faciliteiten zijn echter beperkt. Het restaurant en de lunge/bar zijn slechts geopend in het weekend. Vervelend als je je reis zo plant dat je voor je gaat slapen nog even een hapje kunt eten en niet meer op pad hoeft.'

'Rooms were clean'

'Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, check in was quick. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower like something was falling through from up above, but the price reflected imperfection, and that was the only imperfection I noticed. I’d stay there again. It was good for the price.'

'Not good. I knew not to expect much but for $104 a night but I didn’t think it would also smell like sewage and vomit. Stained mattress cover hanging out of the sheet, unreal grime levels as pictured. Would not have stayed the night if I’d seen these things before getting back to the room too late to leave….not worth it. Save and go somewhere else cleaner that won’t make you feel like your skin is crawling. Also pool looks like it’s been closed for a decade. Front desk guy was nice.'

'Hotel advertised as a hotel with continental breakfast. Only has coffee and juice Room was clean but need major updates on property. Our room by windows floor was cracking and dent on floor. Other was good for sleeping hotel'

'This hotel was the cheapest rate we found for a newer hotel. The sweetness of the deal did not last as long as living with a budget hotel. The pro’s: the staff was nice, our tv worked the first two days, we loved having the mini fridge and microwave in the room. We asked a staff member what we should see in Benton Harbor. He told us they have a Walmart and did not recommend anything else. (We enjoyed South Haven and Holland, Mi. Benton Harbor has a high crime rate.) When we needed clean sheets I...

'Loved the room layout. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking to the downtown shops, to the beach, and along the paved bluff above the lake. The bathroom supplied plentiful towels. The separate bedroom was very much appreciated. Drinks on the patio was enjoyed by my group as well as the well stocked Continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful from check in to wait staff. We plan on returning for family vacations.'

'The breakfast on Saturday morning was the best part of the whole stay. Great server great food and quite tasty ! The room was very clean but the internet was intermittent The TV was on and off every time it rained. Plus our room phone did not work at all.... Needs work. ✌'

'Housekeeping never cleaned room for the two nights we were there. Only light in bathroom is connected to fan and is VERY loud when on making it virtually impossible to use. Food was so so.'

'Staff were friendly and location is great for visiting the surrounding area. Place was recently sold and renovated, but it's still a work in progress. Rooms on the south west side have cool views to the beach and river. Parking gets crowded, especially with visitors who aren't hotel guests. Room had some broken bathroom tiles and elevator glitched while we were on it. At the end of the day, it's an affordable place that puts you close to town and the beach.'

'Staff'

'I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...

'Under construction so some expected dust but rooms were clean as expected. Pool area slightly crowded in evening and towels ran out fast but were filled at request. Breakfast staff very nice'
