'prima hotellocatie; heerlijke keuken, fijn personeel. Waarom dan 4 sterren? De communicatie via de website/ email schoot ernstig tekort. Ik heb 3 maal een e-mail gestuurd of een airport pick up geregeld kon worden, maar geen enkele reactie gekregen waardoor de start van mijn vakantie niet erg fijn voelde. Gelukkig kon ik met een vervoerder mee. Maar anders? '

'Stepping out of the room onto the beach was awesome. The room was very comfortable but just a tiny bit dated - still everything was clean and working. The best thing about the place though was the attitude of the staff - they were so welcoming, helpful and personable. They couldn't have been better!'

'We really enjoyed staying at Castaway. From our arrival the checkin process is relaxed and simple. The room was clean and tidy, the bed in our room was massive and comfy. The shower was great with good pressure. Grace at reception was excellent and is an assett to Castaway. Castaway is in a good location and is smaller than some other resorts, which made it quieter and relaxed. Arorangi has bells rung at 5am(!!) On weds/fri/sun for church, which was a shock the first time but doesn’t last...

'Take ear plugs! The Roosters never shut up! The facilities are basic, but clean and OK. Pool is OK as long as large groups don't take over. Nautilus staff we found dismissive, Muri staff more pleasant. BBQ area is nice but the hot plates are old and barely heat meaning without an over, self catering is challenging. Good proximity to beach and great use of snorkles / kayak / reef shoes etc.'
