'Near perfect, really. Get an e-bike up the street and you are 10 mins from the beach property without worrying about parking. Also, Harwich is fun and charming and you are also close to the rail trail. Pool was warm and setting was bucolic.'

'My husband and I stay over the weekend. Such a sweet place. The room was spacious, clean and had all the comforts needed. The hospitality reminded us of places we stayed in Ireland. 'The property is so picturesque and idyllic. The staff greeted us so warmly every time we saw them. The food was really good and the chef really put her heart into it for it to taste so good. The staff is accommodating for dietary restrictions. My wife is gluten free so for breakfast, as well as the cookies they left for us in the room, it was all gluten free and so delicious.

'For me, the people working at a place really make or break it for me. And in the case of the Lighthouse Inn, they really made it for me. Being greeted by Jane and then later having a chance to speak to Mary Beth at the front desk… Both women could not have been kinder or more helpful. We stayed on a Suite and enjoyed having all the space. Everything was clean, one of our sliding door mirrors was broken, but we didn’t use it, so it was no problem.
