'I booked this last minute and so glad I came across it. Booked King but got free upgrade to large King. Everything excellent, very comfortable, quiet, clean, plenty of extras in room including bottled milk in fridge, two bottles water, cotton wool and buds as well as the usual shower gel, shampoo, conditior soap, and an extra nice touch wine glasses in room. Host very friendly and informative, folder provided with lots of information on local area. Mini bar with honesty box available in lounge....

'We absolutely loved it. The room is a good size, light and comfortable. It has everything we needed and it was clean. Bathroom was nice and clean too. Outstanding service and breakfast. We will come to stay again.'

Fabulous host very helpful and friendly,fantastic breakfast lovely room with very comfy beds and gorgeous toiletries. Had a lovely stay would like to have stayed longer but will definitely return.'

'Room was immaculate and spacious. I was worried about parking but it wasn’t a problem as I was able to get a space outside the front, and the back if I wanted. If you need to check in later than 8/9pm it isn’t a problem; just give them a call and they’ll arrange it with you. Breakfast was decent too! The only negative (a very minor point) is that the shower head appeared to have brewer’s droop! Other than that it was fabulous. I would definitely stay again. '

'Dit zou een 4-sterrenaccomodatie zijn, en volgens de prijs die we betaalden mocht dat ook wel. De accommodatie is gedateerd, badkamer met jaccuzi is oud, geen mengkraan maar een oude hot/coldkraan die moeilijk te regelen viel. Dunne muren, het leek alsof de gasten uit de aangrenzende kamer in onze badkamer stonden te douchen, om van de ruziënde kinderen nog maar te zwijgen. Extra betalen voor de parking, terwijl alle dagbestedingen verplaatsing met de auto vereisen, is niet fijn. £10 per nacht...

'Voor een kort verblijf in Windermere is dit ideaal! Ontbijt was voldoende en goed, eieren worden vers gebakken. Jo was erg vriendelijk en met vragen kon je bij haar terecht. Kamer was schoon en er waren koffie en thee faciliteiten aanwezig met koekjes. Dicht bij het centrum en station, alles is te lopen. '

'Our second year visiting. Wonderful husband and wife team who cook and serve us breakfast and I imagine do all the cleaning. I do not know who owns or manages this hotel, but perhaps it is time for the owner to look at certain things in the bedroom (bathroom blind, vanity stool) to be refreshed, and some repainting. The sunroom at the front of the hotel seems to be used as a storage unit which is a great waste of a nice sitting spot. The breakfasts are excellent again due to the husband...

'The hotel is lovely but very traditional. The food is exceptional but the best thing about the hotel is the staff. They all go above and beyond, they cannot do enough for you!! '
