'We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again.'

'A great old hotel in the countryside. Spacious room and very clean refurbished bathroom. Nice and clean. Restaurant was value for money, and the breakfast was very good. The inhouse pub made evenings comfortable,and had free wifi. Due to lack of aircon room temperature was a bit hot (30 degrees Celsius) and fans provided could not cope with it.
