'My 27 year old son and I came to visit Donegal, the ancestral home of his father’s family. We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Buncrana. We drove up to Malin Head through stunning scenery and visited sites in and around Buncrana. Julie was a kind and accommodating host. The property was well appointed with comfortable beds and a full kitchen on the outskirts of Buncrana. 'While the house is older and showing its age, it's a beautiful location and the host was extremely nice (even left some welcoming gifts). '

'This house was a great base for our family trip to Donegal. The large travel cot & high chair came in very handy. It was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. and there was plenty of room for us all to eat and sit together. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Killahoey beach or into Dunfanaghy. We all agreed it was a winner. Only complaint was it seemed like a few small repairs are needed - one of the windows and one of the showers.'

'We had a very pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is well equiped with everything you need although I missed a dryer (drying outside is possible but was not an option because of the rain chances). A clothing rack to dry wash inside would be useful. The only disadvantage of the house is that there is no wifi, but we could borrow the mobile internet device of the hosts during our stay.'

'Beautiful house, very high level of finish, very clean, great sized rooms. All the utensils you need and good oitdoor space. All rooms ensuite, high quality beds, bedding and nice towels supplied.. Easy flat 10-minute walk into Clonmany village, 5 minutes to local large convenience store (Centra). Easy drive to Ballyliffin Golf Club and 10 minute drive to local beaches. Local taxi facility available.'

'A beautiful large spacious house in a lovely idyllic setting.Cold - tepid water throughout the building. Tvs not working. Dirty drawers. No condiments -not even salt or pepper. No wine glasses, no wine opener. No dishwasher detergent pods.Bathroom bar collasped with old bolts.Deck chair broke in the windy conditions. We spent no time out there. Unwelcoming malfunctioning palace. Sad'
