'The unit had all the items we needed for our group. With the closeness to shops (5 min drive) we were able to get anything we needed and did a mix of eating out and cooking for ourselves. The staff was great and very friendly and helpful. We would plan to be back on our next trip! There was easy access to the beach and while we didn't like the water in the bay (just at the park), it was a quick trip over to Shelly Beach which had fun waves for our whole family.'

'So glad I came to stay here! Lovely, perfectly clean room -a slightly outdated bathroom but with a great hot shower. The rustic seaside charm made me feel instantly at home. I had a waterside room just metres from picturesque Lake Macquarie. The views from the outdoor area (equipped with bbq) were simply breathtaking and teeming with black swans, ducks and pelicans. 'This was a great place to stay. Right on Lake Macquarie. Very relaxing. Great cabin, staff and communication. When there was an issue with one of the toilets on site, or when aclean up neededto be done on the jumping pad, a text message was sent out letting us all know. Also liked the fairy lights around the very clean bbq just behind our cabin. And the sound of frogs in the creek behind us was amazing. '
