'Te kleine kamer, zonder eigen badkamer/wc, dit stond verkeerd in de omschrijving bij het boeken, tegenvaller dus... Kamer was niet netjes eerder vies, ontbijt viel ook tegen.. voor ons geen 2e keer dus !'

'I loved the fact that we could park in front of the property, away from te busy street. The room was lovely, with enough space and a beautiful bathroom (not in the room but just outside). Breakfast was amazing, with both an English breakfast as Continental options. Would love to stay here again in the future'

'Exactly what a boutique B&B should be. Exceptional service - great location- we had the balcony room with a view of the beach- would highly recommend the upgrade. Short walk to town & harbour area. Accurately listed on expedia. Thoughtfully decorated - loved the elclectic book selection in the room . Breakfast just fabulous. Jonathan was a great host - very helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do. Made for a great anniversary weekend.'

'zeer ruime kamer, zeer goed restaurant, voldoende parkeerplaats. Ligt langs een drukke weg zodat er 's nachts redelijk veel lawaai is van verkeer dat langs komt.'

'Es hat alles gepasst. Ein entzückendes B&B mit herausragendem Service, ein Highlight unserer Reise. Ein Tipp für alle Reisenden: Ein Zimmer zur Vorderseite nehmen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Rückseite und würden im Nachhinein den Aufpreis für ein Zimmer mit Meerblick jederzeit zahlen.'

'Single women review - I stayed in the single room for 2 nights. It was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of plug sockets for charging & straighteners etc, hangers and dressing table. The Clarence is exceptionally well-maintained. Immaculate infact. I normally stay in big hotels, and they could learn a thing or two from The Clarence. Everything was sparkling and a real credit to the owners. The room had a coffee machine but no kettle. I did have to Google how to get hot water out of it. I...

'From before our holiday even started, our hosts were attentive and informative. Mel and Trish were extremely welcoming and helpful. They met my family and I at our drop off location and took us to the guesthouse showing us all the best attractions and places to eat. We felt right at home when we arrived and the room was immaculate, with lovely treats for all of us - the games for the kids was an amazing touch - we loved the fresh milk in the fridge too! From old to young, our hosts went all out...

'Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.'
