'The people writing these reviews must be blind. The place is unforgivably outdated . Old TV's...even older and dilapidated furniture. Old paint and old doors that dont close quietly. Old linen and a very old pool thats been closed for years. Its the cheapest hotel in the area tho...and close to some shopping and major highways. The staff is friendly , and some speak English. They are also doing a good renovation job slowly but surely. Sure there are some homeless people here...and you will...

'The house was very clean and the areas was quiet too. We had a nice spot to park the car. The staff was calling and checking on me if I didn’t have any issues with the check in. They were available all the time. The only thing we will need next time if possible is the washer and dryer and extra towels because we were 5 and only got 3 towels. But overall we enjoyed the stays.'

'Breakfast and coffee included would have made a difference. The hotel was also very cold. They adjusted it by the second night but it was unnecessarily over-chilled. Otherwise, very nice rooms.'

'I’ve booked direct before and don’t remember being charged for parking $15 per day which is crazy since there is ample parking surrounded by businesses who would certainly not use the hotel’s parking. It may be because I booked with Expedia which was a huge savings even with paying for parking, my only surprise.'

'Elevators are very slow. Rest is great. Close to a trail near Hudson. Very nice walk even if it is sunny outside. Shaded by trees. Food mart in a small town near this trail (30 min walk) is also good for small shopping.'

It took a significant amount of time for the water to warm up while showering. But again I was impressed and would probably stay again when visiting NYC.'
