'We stayed in a recently refurbished room and were very comfortable. Great view of the mountain. Shuttle from the Coastal Classic train to the hotel worked very well. We enjoyed a casual meal in aBar as well as a tasty brunch in the Tramline Cafe. My husband found the Nordic Spa to be excellent. The restaurant at the top of the tram had wonderful views but was pricey. Overall a very enjoyable stay.'

'It was a lovely place to stay, nice room, good shower, clean. We have been there for 2 days but we have only a towel for 1 day. Because there is no staff at the accomodation you cannot ask anybody.'

'The Highland Glen Lodge is a classic B&B in the sense, with a beautiful new facility. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the breakfast is excellent, and all-in-all it's the best spot in Anchorage that we know of.'

'I have to say that the Comfy Cabin was the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in...and I am a neatnik. It had everything we needed. The only drawback was the lack of a closet or dresser for our clothes, but we emptied shelves of decorative items and were able to store everything out of our suitcases.
