'We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history...

'Quiet area near trails, stores and restaurants '

'We were only able to stay one night here, but enjoyed our visit. The home has really fun furnishings and art. The bathroom rain shower/tub was fun to use and there’s plenty of light for applying makeup. There are blinds in the bedrooms, but wish there were blackout curtains too. It was still bright in the room for sleeping. Located close to downtown.'

'Pretty much what we expected. Location is amazing, right on the water. It's far out of town and a bit isolated, so you'll want a rental car. Taxi is 60 one way. Bus runs once an hour and is only a 5 minuted walk to the stop, but last bus is around 6 PM. It's more rustic than most places on Vrbo, so just set your expectations properly and you'll be pleased. Wifi worked. Coffee maker worked. Microwave worked. Fridge worked. Washer and dryer worked. All good. '
