'We stayed in the Happy Bear for a swim meet weekend. Perfect place to rest and recoup each night and get ready for the next day. Quiet easy to find location, very comfortable and well decorated place. Great hosts.'

'We stayed at the townhome for a couple days while awaiting the start of our Alaska cruise. The property is super convenient to the airport. Our host was gracious enough to allow for a very late check in due to our night flight. The townhome was easy to locate, parking was a breeze, instructions for getting in were easy to follow. 'the only recommendation we had was the pots and pans were not non stick which made ours meals very hard to cook and eat. would have loved to have dish rags to wash dishes. had to end up using our wash clothes from the bathroom. '

'We traveled to Anchorage for spring break week. This property was perfect for what we needed. It was the perfect location for us. The house was within walking distance of shops, parks, museums and restaurants in downtown Anchorage and a 10 min drive from anything else that we needed to get to in town. The house was very clean. 'This is a beautiful and thoughtfully designed new construction home in a great location. We loved all the details from a well-equipped kitchen (with coffee provided!) to the decadent hand soap. Excellent space to spread out, big table for us to sit around, lots of big beautiful windows and an outdoor deck. The beds were super comfy with beautiful linens and towels. 'Unfortunately, we only had one night at Alison’s. Her home is beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. She is a gracious and accommodating hostess. Location is far enough away from Anchorage proper and very close to the scenic coastal drive and points south. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home. '

'The bed needs major upgrading as the metal bunks are extremely noisy and sway into the wall as you climb up if you're not careful. Other than that, exactly as described, quiet and enough amenities to live comfortably. And seeing the resident mama moose and twins was a big bonus. Thank you again!'

'A great space to relax and spend as much time together as a family or spend time on your own in private spaces or rooms. A lovely porch in the tranquil woods and a delightful hot tub. Best of all, great owners and really great touches all around the property. We had all we needed and more to cook and enjoy ourselves. I would stay here again with a big group. '

"Voor deze prijs (€ 260) mag je iets meer verwachten. Het was er ronduit smerig, bruine vlekken op de zijkant van het bed, een dekbed zonder overtrek als sprei op het bed. De kussenslopen waren te klein, hierdoor kon je de viezige kussens goed bekijken. Bij het 2e bed, hing de halve onderkant er los onder. Schimmel in de badkamer, tegels en bad gelig. De badkamerdeur was van buiten op slot gevallen, kregen we zelf niet open. Er kwam iemand na 30 minuten om het op te lossen. Op de hele galerij hangen asbakken. In je bed kon je de sigarettenrook ruiken. De shuttle was goed geregeld, afstand naar vliegveld ca. 5 minuten."
