'Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again'

'Such a lovely suite! Foyer, living room, kitchen, bathroom and lovely bedroom. Beautiful decor. Quiet neighbors. Absolutely loved. And right of the main downtown street!'

'Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.'

'I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though'

'For the price paid, the size of the room and time provided didn't justify. The hosts are great, helped us get early check-in. Room is tidy, but small. Other amenities are good.'
