'We used the cabin as a home base to explore Acadia while having a fun and beautiful place to come back and see the sunsets and sunrises on the water. The little heater was enough to keep us warm during the chilly fall week we were there. Was a great spot for the two of us!'

'We chose to stay here for my birthday and to visit Acadia National Park. The cottage's cozy and beautiful (a truly architectural jewel). We wanted to find a peaceful and traditional way to relax and we found it here. The surroundings are stunning (truly loved/ enjoyed the sunrise with the lake's view, great get away from the city and to be able to see the stars at night). The owner is welcoming and attentive. Glad for the vacation time spent here. Truly grateful for this experience! Thank you. '

'Finding a secluded place this close to downtown Ellsworth was perfect for us. Ellsworth is incredibly charming and just far enough away from Acadia to avoid the crowds found on the island but close enough to make trips into the park a breeze. Cabin is absolutely lovely and comes with all the amenities one could possibly need on a short trip to the North East. Do be warned this property is really not for a family looking to spend their days in the lake. However, if you're looking for a day trip...

'This place is amazing!! The property sits on a quiet gravel road, and the views of the water are beautiful. We saw loons, ducks, turtles and otters from the deck!The house has everything you would need and the hosts went above and beyond by providing kayaks, canoes and paddleboards, along with firewood and bottled water! Communication was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations.Amazing location, property, cabin, and hosts! Highly recommend!!'
