'I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Nice, quiet tucked away in the woods but close enough to restaurants and various other creature comforts in nearby Bar Harbor. I even extended my stay by a day and that was also hassle free. Y’all rock!'

'The hotel is claimed to be a 4 star but it’s not more than 2. Location is nice but rooms were less than the average of a simple motel. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a room on the first floor and have a partial view of the hills and pool, I say partial because they have built a tent close to the pool and attached to the building, so it blocks the view. If you’re unlucky like we were, you’ll get a room at the pool level (basement) and have the window just blind, facing the inside of tent, and paying...

'Room was clean, fridge and microwave, bed comfortable, quiet motel- it’s set back from the road and sheltered by trees. Picnic tables and sitting areas scattered in the shade of the trees. The pool was lovely. Some of the areas around the motel could use a sprucing up, but for the price- we thought it was great.'

'Since there was very little information on the listing, I thought I would clarify that this is a very rustic accommodation, more like camping than anything else. The cabin was very open to the elements, always filled with bugs (wasps, beetles, fishing spiders, etc.), and you should expect to be woken up at 4 by the rooster and other farm animals. The bed itself was cozy and the shed was charming in many ways. If this all is what you are expecting, you might have a great time. For people like us...

'I can see how this property would be nice for a family.We had a small room, and it was very small.Not what I had expected, but it was clean and neat.And I loved the downstairs area where they offered snacks.And things like s'more kits for the kids and coffee and water and everything. We had been traveling all day and it was great to grab the water and a granola bar on the way up.'
