'This hotel is fantastic, but I would suggest having a rental car if you stay here. It's ideal for getting to a lot of places on the island but staying very convenient to Ponta Delgada and the many restaurants there in the evening. We went out on excursions every day, and many tour operators picked us up directly at the hotel. 'This is a beautiful stay in a very convenient location! Everything is close by and driving to the East side of the island is only an hour. Everything else is even closer! The front desk staff were all exceptional and helped us with directions, recommendations for restaurants and also suggestions on where to go. They were all very kind to us. We loved having a delicious breakfast on the property every morning. We also really enjoyed coming back after the day and having a glass of wine and dinner...

'Stayed for 6 nights and everything was as advertised. Unit was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Loved the skylight in the bathroom! Parking was easy to find on the street. Staff was very friendly and very responsive to my inquiries. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!'
