'The home is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood with trees and flowering bushes about. Upon entering the home, one was struck by its simple elegance. We've stayed at many rented homes and this one by far had the best kitchen ware, which made cooking for our family a dream! The beds were comfortable and bathrooms (with full baths) were gorgeous! 'We had a large 5 family group celebrating the end of our homeschool year learning about CA history. This was a perfect central location for that! We visited Sutter's Fort, Sutter's Mill, The Capital, RR Museum, Gold Bug Mine & downtown Placerville. The house was perfect for the families with kids that ranged from 1.5 to 16y. 'Clean home, most needed items already in home, fast and easy communication with host, lots to do in surrounding area and lots of trails and cute downtown/old town exploring opportunities, and would recommend to friends and family to stay. Items to consider bringing for future stay: extra towels for spa use, step stool for high cupboards or kiddos to reach sinks, portable mop or vacuum since surrounding area is hiking trails.'
