'Nice hotel at the right location of San Antonio. Just a few minutes from the river walk and a few steps from the Alamo. Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is good if you want breakfast burritos. The bar (all say happy hour) was a bit boring. Staff was friendly. The valet was pretty expensive, but that's the same at all hotels.'

'The hotel is old, obviously, and our room was a small one. But I quickly realized that it felt more like staying with family than just having a hotel room — everyone was so astonishingly kind and helpful and friendly. The restaurant is really good — both the generous breakfast and the Indian restaurant they operate later in the day.
