'Fine food not as special as it is anounced, But a bit pricey and small portions. Also the breakfast is a bit less. Service was polite but a bit cold and distance.'

'Lovely hotel, the room was very nice. Loved the decor. Friendly staff and the breakfast was great! Short walk to the center of Oban with lovely views.'

'Mooie ruime kamer (familiekamer) met grote badkamer. Openslaande deuren naar het meer. Fijne bedden. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk.

The double bed was very small and highly uncomfortable for two people. We also experienced erratic plumbing and electricity, and there was a noticeable damp smell in the room. Given the issues, it is not worth more than 2.5 or 3 out of 5.'

'Outstanding property, superb service, best breakfast!!!'

'Our stay at Glencruitten House was lovely. However, for the price there are a few things that did not exactly meet expectations. First, upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink to enjoy in the sitting room, which was very nice. But there was no direction for what we should do after. We were not offered assistance with bags at check-in, so we went to fetch our own bags after we finished our drinks. When we lugged in our bags we were told “oh someone could have helped you with that”. It was...
