A storm blew through during our stay which made the power go out for a short period of time. The room was nice semi quiet, convenient location to a few different restaurants in a couple of coffee shops and then also the grocery store if you need to get food or other supplies.'

'Overall it was a nice stay at The Cove. Location was great for those of us not wanting to be right in noisy downtown. About 25 minute walk, and 5-7 minute drive to the heart of Salem. Room was clean, decor and styling was nice, and it was fairly quiet. The only negatives I have are that one day our room was only half done room service wise for some reason, and the original lady who checked me in wasn’t overly friendly. 'My daughter and I stayed for a birthday trip. It was such a beautiful place. Someone kept in touch before, during and after our stay. I never felt like I was "out of the loop". Be prepared to walk about a mile to downtown. It is a nice, safe walk though. I would definitely recommend the Coach House!'

'2 night stay. Convenient to commute between Salem and Rockport. Our apartment was 2 bedroom as we travel with our adult son. Its hard to find suites that are not just a pull out sofa in the Livingroom area. We did not use the stove or dishwasher. Best feature was the ability to set the air conditioning down to 60 and actually feel it. The bed mattress was too hard for us, but that is a personal preference.
