'We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.

'Two things bothered me - because of the barn style door to the bathroom, your roommate can See and Hear you going to the bathroom. Also the doors to the rooms are tremendously heavy, which means they slam every time someone goes in or out of their room. Other than that, the hotel was great. '

'We stayed in August of 2025 and the accommodation was nice. The hotel is perfectly located, no more than a 5 minute walk to everything. The breakfast was wonderful and always fully stocked. All of the staff was fry and helpful. I would recommend if staying in Salem this hotel would be a best choice '

'I absolutely loved it here! Nice, clean room in a beautiful building and the location could not be any better. The only thing to note is that the parking was a bit far away and required us to get a parking pass from the front desk. Not a big deal for us but worth noting!'

'The Cabot Lodge is a quaint, adorable, wonderful place to stay! The room itself is tiny but the bathroom is spacious. The room has everything you need, including a sound machine!
