'Perfect place to stay that’s just a few minutes from Salem and the coast. My husband and I loved their private beach! My only complaint is that the sheets were itchy like they used too much starch. Aside from the sheets I would absolutely recommend this place for others to stay!'

'What a stellar place to stay! After a drive through some nice neighborhoods, we arrived at the inn and were greeted by a very nice staff person at the check in desk. We booked 2 rooms and were pleasantly surprised that they were right across from each other. The rooms were well appointed and super clean with comfortable beds. While Rockport is a destination resort town, it becomes very quiet in the evening but close to Gloucester where many entertainment venues are available.

Some of the other rooms had balconies. The had free, very basic, breakfast outside under a tent every morning. Coffee, juice, fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, croissants,. They required a random $50 deposit, then took 10 mins to provide a receipt. Upon check out, we presented the receipt to the clerk, who then argued for 10 mins about giving me back the $50 cash, before finally having it over.
We wouldn't recommend this place, even to the thrifty traveler.'
