I did book through Expedia so it was only $43 with tax. They seem to be in the process of remodeling in some areas the room I originally had was very updated. It was a huge inconvenience that we asked for towels and 18 hours later still didn't have any had to go ask the maintenance man again and finally got them. The staff is ok but...

'If you’re going to do New Orleans,don’t stay in the city. Big ripoff with overpriced hotels and paid parking and big taxes. Stay in Metairie or Kenner. Much less hassle and money where you have to tip everyone for everything. I usually stay here and enjoy the impressive free breakfast and quiet surroundings. '

'Stayed here for Halloween night as it was very affordable. For the price difference we could have taken about 5 ubers to and back from downtown, which is only a 15-20 min drive.
Quiet location, free parking. Didnt wake up in time for breakfast, but its free. We were checked in by Dawn who was very friendly and welcoming.

Was disappointed that on the 2nd day, they ran out of food for breakfast with 30 minutes left. Check-in was simple and quick. nothing particularly fancy, but very efficient. There are a few on-site parking spots, but there’s also plenty of street parking nearby, and the best part is that it’s free on weekends!
