I would definitely recommend for proximity to airport, airport shuttle and an enterprise rental next door which will save you the trouble of the god forsaken sh*t show that is getting to the rental car desk at the airport.

I did book through Expedia so it was only $43 with tax. They seem to be in the process of remodeling in some areas the room I originally had was very updated. It was a huge inconvenience that we asked for towels and 18 hours later still didn't have any had to go ask the maintenance man again and finally got them. The staff is ok but...

'This is an unexpected gem! From the view outside I wasn’t expecting much, but the AC was cold, the room was clean and actually smelled good, and the pool was fantastic! I spent literal hours just sitting poolside because it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was great, and definitely more than I expected when I saw “grab and go breakfast” in the description, it was a full continental. '

'If you’re going to do New Orleans,don’t stay in the city. Big ripoff with overpriced hotels and paid parking and big taxes. Stay in Metairie or Kenner. Much less hassle and money where you have to tip everyone for everything. I usually stay here and enjoy the impressive free breakfast and quiet surroundings. '
