'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel. Our room was very clean, which is quite important to us. Across the street is a bar, which sometimes had some loud guests, which is the only downside we can think of. The breakfast is sufficient and the staff is very kind & helpful. The pool is a nice addition to the overall stay. Highly recommended!'

'Very nice hotel in a great location. Emma, at front desk, is very nice and helped us with reservations to the lounge area. Other personnel in hotel were not as friendly. They need a consierge to help with directions, reservations, etc. We got wrong walking directions more than once. '

'A wonderful hotel on the inside! The the rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. The restaurant, breakfast and drinks, are good and its staff is great. However, when you step outside you are right on the end of Bourbon Street, so you have the noise and stuff thag comes with it.'
