'The staff has dirty uniforms, could not get hot water to make tea to day. Stated the coffees shop is closed on Monday's. Hall floors are not vacuum, glass doors were not cleaned during my total stay. In general poor maintenance.'

'I chose it because of the price. You get what you paid for. A dated hotel that needs updating and maintenance, a working breakfast buffet, better ventilation. Too bad since it’s is big, had a large pool, and has a good location with not a lot of hotel options in the area.'

'We booked a non-smoking room and got the opposite. The whole building smelled of cigarettes! The bathtub was dirty; the window screen was broken and so was the security bar.'

'The shower hot water didn’t work when we got there. After the maintenance staff fixed it it lasted not even a day before we lost any pressure. The manager was rude when I came down to have someone fix the shower.'

(And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....
