'Prima hotelletje voor een paar dagen New York. De kamer is klein maar efficient en er is een prima lobby waar je goed kunt zitten. Gratis ontbijt is een aardige plus ( koffie, croisants, muffins maar ook vers fruit). Vlak bij Grand Central station, dus goede metro verbindingen. Aardig personeel. Goed matras en grote tv (niet gebruikt). '
'Hotel San Carlos was a perfect place for us to start our daily trips to discover New York. Walking distance of all the attractions and shops in midtown on a relatively quiet place. Service in the hotel is perfect. We would come again with a next Visit. '

'This hotel is legitimate 5-star. I stay here when we I’m in NYC. Food is good, staff is mostly Korean and the efficient and friendly. The street is not what 5th Avenue used to be. Not their fault, but NYC has lost its way. Homeless problem 10 feet from the front door. Panhandlers and mentally ill people everywhere. '
'Every staff person was extremely helpful, cheerful and kind. One desk person, I( think his name was Elias, was particularly helpful.
We would love to come back again.

'We have had a great stay! The hotel is perfect for people who want to explore Manhattan bit also seek a quiet place to relax a bit. The Bryant park nearby is a big plus.
The service is great; every day a warm goodmorning and smile. Chambers are cleaned neatly. We will come back some day!'

"De kamer was schoon. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van Times Square. Goede ontbijtgelegenheden en restaurants vlakbij. Receptionist Joey was helemaal top, maar ook de anderen gaven goede service."
"Good place next to time square, clean hotel, good beds, rooms for 4 persons aren somewhat small if you have suitcases, but doable. Breakfast is proper and included (just missing basic options for bread such as cheese and ham).
The elevator situation especially around breakfast time is terrible. There are 5 elevators for over 30+ floors. If you are below level 20 there is a fair chance that you have to wait +10 mins for a elevator thats not full.
Further is the rooftop bar not just to but you must take a table. Outside space is limited, while inside the airco is on turbo.
Staff in general is nice, there is a basic but well maintained gym and they offer taxi services in case u need one to the airport. Conclusion, eventhough the elevator situation I would return."

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, located just around the corner from Times Square. It’s the perfect base for exploring New York, with major attractions and public transportation all within easy walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The only downside was the $100 per hour charge for late checkout, which felt a bit steep. That said, we absolutely enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back!"

"Het was een aftandse zooi. Behang los, kranen los, afvoerputjes miste, alle voegen waren geel. De kasten vielen van ellende uit elkaar. Het restaurant was sinds covid nooit meer open gegaan. Dus ontbijten was niet mogelijk. De sportschool waarmee geadverteerd wordt bestaat niet. En de sfeer leek meer op een station. "
