'The hotel is old and rustic however they do a good job of keeping it clean. The lobby and hallways are like you walked back in time although some of the chairs could use some reupholstery. The rooms have character and the restaurants were great. We ate in the lounge at the bar - food, service and drinks were lovely.'

'We live in Dallas and dropped off our youngest child at A&M for college. Instead of going straight home, we did a staycation at The Drover to decompress before adjusting to our new “empty nest” life. Has been on our bucket list to visit and it didn’t disappoint. Everything exceeded our expectations. Staff (front desk, pool, and concierge) was friendly, amenities were amazing, and the level of detail throughout was impressive.
