'I’m not sure where to even start with this review. All I can say is “what a view” every morning we woke up to the beauty of Thomas Pond. Every night we went to bed under a sky full of stars. The home is a perfect lakeside retreat. Comfortable for our family of 3 and 2 more guests in the guest house. We could have all stayed in the main home but the separate homes was perfect for our situation. Fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking off of the pier every day was so much fun. 'Wow what a beautiful location. We were there right at the peak of fall leaf colors. Would have loved to take a kayak out with my fish rods but the water was cold and we had some rough waters that week. Would love to go back and enjoy this area in the summer.The place was clean and comfortable.So much to do and see in the area so we were only there to sleep at night. '

However with such a great location to all that Portland has to offer taking a quick walk to whatever strikes your fancy is highly recommended. The bakery on the corner has great coffee and baked goods. We didn’t need much from Doug but when I messaged him he was very responsive and accommodating. The beds are extremely comfortably.
